Deb

Bachelor of Nursing

Deb is an experienced registered nurse who found her passion in family practice.  She has worked at Cambourne since 2008 and previously at SWHC and SJOG. Deb enjoys providing holistic care to patients of all age groups.  Deb has a keen interest in travel medicine, immunisations, wound care and preventative health management.  Deb has extra knowledge in wound management and alongside Karen has co-researched and published in the Wounds International magazine.

Karen

Karen is a friendly and experienced General Practice Nurse, who enjoys interacting with patients and supporting the doctors. Karen brings vast and varied nursing experience from previous work at various Melbourne Hospitals, the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, St John of God Hospital, and as a clinic nurse at the Ear Nose Throat Specialists in Warrnambool. Karen joined the Cambourne Clinic team in 2012 and is very adept at providing procedural assistance, supporting and educating patients and generally co-ordinating our busy procedure and treatment rooms. 

Lou

Bachelor of Nursing

Lou is an experienced Practice Nurse who joined the Cambourne team in 2012. Lou is a qualified nurse immunisation provider and specialises in childhood and travel vaccinations. She is actively engaged in managing both acute and chronic presentations in primary care. Lou has a lovely caring manner, is great with children, and has up to date expertise in vaccination programs.

Julie

Bachelor of Nursing

Julie is a qualified registered nurse and has expertise in acute and aged care. At Cambourne Julie combines her clinical care with chronic disease management, education and support. Julie assist people both living with and at increased risk of chronic disease through educating and helping them gain the information, knowledge, skills, motivation and confidence they need to manage their condition and optimise their health outcomes.

Erin

Bachelor of Nursing

Graduate Cert. Diabetes

Erin joined the Cambourne team in 2008 and specialises in diabetes education along with devising thorough patient care plans, health assessments and advanced care plans. Erin enjoys diabetic education and helping patients to unlock their full potential to live a healthier and more meaningful life through improved self-education and preventative health awareness.

Andrea

Diploma of Nursing

Certificate in Midwifery

Grad. Cert. in Primary Care Nursing

Masters of Mental Health

Andrea has been practicing as a Registered Nurse and midwife for over 25 years. She joined Cambourne Clinic in 2021 and thoroughly enjoys being a member of the team.

 

Her areas of interest includes women’s health, preventative health care, behaviour change and immunisation.

Cate

Bachelor of Nursing

Diploma of Critical Care

Graduate Certificate in Diabetes

Cate brings over 30 years experience to her role as Practice Nurse and Health Coach. In addition to covering the traditional facets of practice nursing,  Cate’s passion is helping and inspiring others to make better health choices.

She specialises in cardiac, health and rehab, diabetes education and chronic disease.
